I’ve called Bridgeport, Connecticut home since 1999. Devoting 10 years of experience in the Insurance Industry, I have hosted multiple seminars involving how to establish credit for home buyers and help many

people in my community get into their first home. This has also helped me to establish multiple Liberty Tax Service offices in Bridgeport.

What motivates me is the change I make in my community. I help people protect what is most important in their lives. When I’m not at work you can find me throughout the community giving back, spending time with my two-year-old, Noah, or playing golf. I’m also a proud supporter of BCYL (Bridgeport Caribe Youth Leaders) and Generation Z Soccer.

Ashlin Varverde

I grew up here in the Bridgeport community. Here at the Moran Agency, we can relate to our clients’ everyday lives. I love being able to walk them through difficult situations as well as help them better understand the world of insurance. I have been working with insurance for about 8 months now and I enjoy my work. It is rewarding for me, being able to help others. What most excites me is when my clients leave my office with confidence. They become more aware of their policy, the claim process and their coverages. They know that they can trust me for advice and that I am always here to answer any questions they may have.

Personally, one thing I really enjoy is some homemade food. I also love to try new things from all around the world. I love to go to the beach and relax in front of the water. Or you can catch me being lazy on my couch watching new shows on Netflix.

Alexa Young

I grew up in Bridgeport. Regarding my profession in the industry, my first year I was a licensed customer service representative. I am now going on a year as a licensed sales agent. What most excites me about my job is that I enjoy discussing coverages with our clients and educating on the importance of insurance. Everyone should have an understanding of the coverages they obtain. Personally, I enjoy going over umbrella coverages, not many know it exist nor what it’s for. Educating our clients on having the best protection is my personal favorite.

My weekend are mostly spent with my family.

Robert Rose

I’m born and raised in Bridgeport, CT and my family is from the shining star of the Caribbean, Puerto Rico. I’ve worked with multiple insurance agencies throughout my career, collecting trophies and earning trips along the way. Educating individuals and families on the importance of retirement planning and life insurance has been especially rewarding for me.

Some fun facts about me: I still enjoy dance music from my era – 80’s club music! I also enjoy going out with my wife on our date nights. We like bowling and soft-serve ice cream. I’m actually a long-time wrestling fan – almost 40 years! I enjoy following WWE and my favorite characters have included The Rock, Steve Austin the Undertaker. When I’m not working I’m usually at home or at Home Depot! There always something to do at home. Also, I’ve been a member and officer of the Knights of Columbus for 18 years now.

Kevin Nye

I grew up everywhere. I lived in Bridgeport, Stratford, Norwalk and Shelton. I have been in NJROTC back in High school and also was 2017 Miss Puerto Rico Princess for Fairfield County.

It has been having an amazing experience working in the insurance industry. I learn every day. I love helping people every day and seeing a smile on their faces and being here to help them be protected. What excites me most is being here to serve our clients and help them with their insurance and their everyday needs. I enjoy working here, I enjoy music, and also studying to make an impact in life. I hope to one-day graduate law school and help out the community and their citizenship.

A talent many people do not know about me is that I do music, I have been for about 7 years, on and off, I compose music and I am a vocalist. I play piano but it isn’t my specialty.

On the weekend, I mostly spend it with my husband and also my family. I love picnics at the park and being with the family and eating. I am passionate about the system and how unfair it is. I believe in justice and equality of color, gender and race, and the system of immigration.

Regarding my professional life, I’ve had an amazing experience in the insurance industry. I’ve had the privilege to learn a lot of new things and meet great people! What excites me about my job is working with people, I enjoy helping others with their insurance needs, and getting everything they require in place! I enjoy the work environment, it’s full of amazing energy, and great people we all help each other out in anything we need, and I really do love that about the job! They make you feel as if you were family.

On the weekends I have a part-time job at a family member’s restaurant!
